I often say, as children of the Creator God made in His image and likeness, you and I were born on purpose for purpose! Our birth into this world surely was not by happenstance no matter the natural circumstances through which we were conceived. Furthermore, our natural birth is not all there is to this life; there is a spiritual as well as a visionary birthing that must take place in us and through us in order for the fullness of our unique selves to be realized.
Throughout your lifetime, DaddyGod has dropped a thing, an idea or a prophetic Message into your life or spirit that made up the whole of a powerful vision that you, and you alone, was designed to birth out/bring forth into the earth realm at its proper season for the glory of God. It is a vision that you think about, eat and sleep all the time (sort of like being in love with your soulmate). You get excited anytime you come across something that brings it (the vision, that is) to your attention. Your passion towards it can be described as simply “on absolute fire!” You know in your heart that, without a shadow of a doubt, this is exactly what you were put on this temporary earth to do.
Visionaries are not average folk; we see beyond what normal people see. In fact, we have the ability to create something out of nothing. Hallelujah, glory to God! We are not like everybody else, and are not apt to copy what other people have done [oops, this struck a direct cord with me]. People can attempt to imitate, but could never duplicate your God-ordained plan or purpose! Can I get an Amen on that one somebody? Visionaries are doers as opposed to being doubters. We believe exactly what our DaddyGod said to us concerning all matters in Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God [and us – His Royal Children] all things are possible!”
As a God-loving Visionary myself who is actualizing today what God spoke into my spirit in 1995 (yes, 15 years ago), I’ve learned that while carrying out His vision for my life, I can’t expect to be wholeheartedly celebrated or even clearly understood by others, particularly those close around me. I initially expected “my inner world” to be just as excited about my vision as I was, but came to realize sooner rather than later upon launching The Daughters of Christ, Inc., if I’m going to sail this life-changing visionary ship to destination, I must be confident enough to know my DaddyGod is steering its wheel for me with assurance He is all I really need to dock successfully.
True leaders aren’t focused on impressing man, but on improving mankind. I had to learn painfully quick that everyone doesn’t have the spiritual eye, ear sight or capacity to see the awesomeness of vision being realized through me mainly because God didn’t give it to them; He, my Creator, gave the vision personally and uniquely to me – the one He designed and built perfectly to fulfill it. As General Russel L. Honoré, who served as designated Commander of the Joint Task Force Katrina Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina upon the Gulf Coast in 2005, recently quoted on the Tom Joyner Morning Show while discussing his new book entitled Leadership in the New Normal, “Leadership is not a popularity contest; it is a performance.”
Throughout the Bible, God provided us models of examples of how to handle being entrusted with vision while also reminding us who He is “downloading” to – us His Sons & Daughters:
- In Amos 1:1, This message was given to Amos,
a shepherd from the town of Tekoa in Judah. He received this message in visions.
- In Obadiah 1:1, This is the vision that the Sovereign LORD
revealed to Obadiah concerning the land of Edom.
- In Micah 1:1, The LORD gave this message to Micah of Moresheth
during the years when Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah were kings of Judah.
The visions he saw concerned both Samaria and Jerusalem.
- In Nahum 1:1, This message concerning Nineveh
came as a vision to Nahum, who lived in Elkosh.
- Jeremiah confidently stated in his book, Chapter 1 verse 4,
The LORD gave me this message:
In conclusion, Abba awakened me yesterday morning with a personal Word concerning my visionary birthing that prompted me to write this Facebook posting at approximately 6:30am which inspired this blog:
Just because one man “ain’t feeling” your Vision,
doesn’t mean “it ain’t so.”
The Almighty, All-knowing and All-wise God
gave it to you for birthing and fulfillment,
not anyone else. So while they’re ignorantly talking about,
you keep confidently walking towards
His Vision that shall surely come to pass
to bless the Lord, the world and you!

From one visionary to another, my humble advice to you is found in this leadership quote:
“Stay locked into your assignment and let the forces of negativity fade away.”
~ Matthew Barnett
No matter what people, your present circumstances, your current resources or your past says, if DaddyGod planted a vision in you, you were born and are able to PUSH it out! We serve a faithful God who had enough faith in you as His Royal Child to get a necessary vision realized. Don’t be distracted by the naysayers, but instead attracted forward by your God-inspired vision statement that in the end will speak loudly and clearly for itself while also blessing all those in its midst when it does.
Loving Abba & You Always,
Your Royal Kingdom Sister Darnella
